How Does It Work?

Players can participate in the game by staking their Zeebros on the Zeebro NFT Portal.

Staking a Zeebro makes it eligible for a share of platform profit share distributions (among various other benefits) through two daily lotteries.

We highly recommend you read through the sections below to have a good understanding of the game - as several factors are in play at any given time.

Epoch Length

The game takes place over a single epoch – currently daily.

Profit Share Sources

Every day, the following profit share sources are allocated into the 'epoch pot':

  • 10% of platform profits from the previous day (after gas reclaim allowances, player rewards and referral commissions are paid out).

  • 33.3% of Zeebro NFT marketplace royalty fees from the previous day.

  • 100% of Zeebro NFT unstaking fees throughout the current day.

Two Lotteries - Six Prizes

Every day two lotteries are drawn within the game:

  • Trait Lottery - 3 traits will be drawn to come 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The trait lottery prize pool will be split 60/30/10% between all staked Zeebros with these drawn winning traits.

  • Jackpot Lottery – 3 Zeebros will be drawn to come 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The Zeebro lottery prize pool will be split 60/30/10% between these drawn Zeebros if they’re staked.

The epoch pot is split 80/20% between the Trait and Jackpot lotteries.

Staking/Unstaking

Players are allowed to stake or unstake their Zeebro at any time during an epoch, except for one small time period where a short β€˜freeze’ period will occur (this occurs so that the census of staked Zeebros is fixed over this short time window):

  • Right before a new lottery epoch begins.

  • When traits and winning Zeebros are drawn.

Staking your Zeebro allows you to activate a Rakeback enchancement and make it your In-platform Avatar.

Unstaking your Zeebro makes it ineligible for both daily lotteries, even if it has a winning trait or is a winning Zeebro.

Unstaking also requires players pay the 'Unstaking Tax' - an unstaking fee, which is calculated as 3.3% of the Zeebro NFT floor price at the time.

100% of this fee is distributed back into the current epoch pot.

If players do not have the funds required to pay the tax in their wallet, they will be unable to unstake the NFT. However, if players have unclaimed rewards, the value of those rewards will be automatically deducted from the unstaking tax - only requiring players to pay the remaining amount.

The length of time a Zeebro is staked is being actively tracked via smart contract. Any unstaking actions reset that timer - e.g. Unstaking an NFT and then staking it will start a fresh timer.

While time staked is not being actively used, it may very likely be an airdrop driver as the $ZBT token generation event approaches.

Therefore, ensure that you use the correct wallet for staking from the outset to prevent having to switch wallets and resetting the timer in the future.

Claiming Winnings

Once the winners for the given epoch are selected, they must claim their winnings on Zeebit through the My Zeebros dashboard.

Winnings do not expire, and players are free to claim them at any time after they’ve won!

If there are no winners for that epoch, the prize pool for the given epoch rolls over to the next one.

Profit Share Expectancy

In this game, profit share expectancy is a key indicator of how much a player can expect to win for a given Zeebro. While this is the same for the Zeebro lottery (all Zeebros have an equivalent chance of winning, and only 3 Zeebros can win every epoch), it varies for the Trait lottery.

Trait lottery profit share expectancy depends on two types of rarity, which will differ during any given epoch:

  • Supply Rarity

  • Staked Rarity

These two types of rarity will determine how many other players/Zeebros winners will have to share the prize pool with.

Read more on this in the Rarity Section.

Configurable Parameters

All the parameters involved in the game, such as the epoch pot split (80/20%), the lottery prize pool split (60/30/10%), the profit share distribution percentages and more, are configurable and may be subject to change.
